About Us
THE TRUSTED CHOICE
Innovative solutions that work
At the intersection of science, grit, and real-world impact, SoRite’s leadership brings together decades of expertise—from janitorial trenches to high-stakes hazmat scenes.
For over 150 years, cleaning has been ruled by toxic relics—bleach, ammonia, and corrosive compounds disguised in friendly packaging. It’s time for a change.
SoRite is on a mission to make life safer, cleaner, and better for everyone. Whether you’re oxidizing fentanyl, relieving pepper spray exposure, disinfecting a patient’s room, or tackling stubborn pet odors at home, SoRite delivers industrial-strength performance without toxic trade-offs.
Founded in 2015 by entrepreneur and former janitor Autumn Ryan, SoRite began with a breakthrough: a low-toxicity, precision-level sodium chlorite-based cleaner that was both highly effective and remarkably safe. What started as a solution for the cleaning industry has since evolved into a trusted line of decontamination and disinfectant products used across public safety, healthcare, corrections, and residential settings.
SoRite is the first company to harness the power of sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) as the active base across a complete product line. Our patented technology (U.S. Patent #11,944,097) is EPA-registered (91603-3), FDA-reviewed, and verified by third-party DEA-accredited labs.
who we serve
SoRite was made for the people who don’t get to cut corners—first responders, healthcare workers, janitors, corrections officers, pet parents and more. Whether you’re cleaning a school with our disinfectant or oxidizing fentanyl with DECON, SoRite is your go-to for fast, safe results.

Autumn Ryan started her first company the day after college graduation—as a single mom determined to build a better life for her daughters. That janitorial company grew into a multi-million dollar enterprise, and later a successful national franchise. But Autumn saw a deeper problem: the cleaning industry was still relying on toxic chemicals that harmed the people using them. So she walked away—and began building something better.
Self-funded and fueled by conviction, Autumn poured nearly a decade into bringing SoRite to life—maxing out three mortgages on her home, running and living off of AirBNB for six years - three with no income, and investing everything she had into R&D. Along the way, she earned national recognition on Good Morning America and in Dave Ramsey’s publications. But more importantly, she earned trust—by creating chemical solutions that actually work, and don’t compromise safety.
Autumn’s leadership is grounded in integrity and grit. Her vision for SoRite is global and generational: a world where no one has to choose between performance and protection. 'It takes a janitor to know a janitor,' she says. So she built a company not just for industry—but for humanity.
